Coincidence or Prophesy?

"The penultimate of the surname of Prophet will take Diana [Thursday] for his day and rest: He will wander because of a frantic head, And delivering a great people from subjection." -Nostradamus

Could it have come true when...

• ...a princess died?

Many people believe this prophecy refers to the 1997 death of Princess Diana.

"He will come to travel to the corner of Luna, Where he will be captured and put in a strange land, The unripe fruits to be subject of great scandal, Great blame, to one, great praise." -Nostradamus

Could it have come true when...

• ...man walked on the moon?

With its reference to ‘Luna’, Nostradamus scholars believe this is obviously a prediction of the historic 1969 Moon landing.

"The blood of the just will be demanded of London Burnt by fire in the year ’66 The ancient Lady will fall from her high place and many of the same sect will be killed." -Nostradamus

With the reference to London burning and the year ’66, many people believe this prophesy is undoubtedly a prediction of the Great London Fire of 1666.

Creatively unscrambling the words ‘PAU NAY LORON’, true believers claim, proves Nostradamus foresaw the rise of french monarch Napoleon Bonaparte.

"Near the gates and within two cities there will be scourges the like of which was never seen, Famine within plague, people put out by steel, Crying to the great immortal God for relief." -Nostradamus
